MAHSOPA HELD GST TALK

MAHSOPA held a free GST Talk to ex-MHS pupils and friends at Kelab Golf Negara Subang, Kelana Jaya this late morning. More 5han 30 persons attended the talk presented by our own MHS pupil, Mr. Yong Poh Chye. He highlighted the Impact of GST on Malaysians and what items will be subjected to GST, GST Exempted and Zero-rated items.

Companies and individuals who have business income exceeding RM 500,000.00 per year must register with the Royal Malaysian Customs before 31st. December 2014. Failure to do so will result in a penalty or jail term by the Royal Malaysian Customs.

Many queries were asked by those who attended the free talk. The talk ended at about 1.30pm before we adjourned for a buffet lunch hosted by MAHSOPA.
